TEAM-BUILD WITH FIRE

  Using primitive fire starting techniques your team

must work together to successfully complete a unique

challenge. Goals will be set for both the individual

team and the corporate group.  All challenges include

professional debriefing, assessment and critique.

BOWDRILL CHALLENGE  1.5 hours  $175

  The group will be given a complete demonstration of

the technique with all elements required to succeed.

Then teams of 3-4 people will have to collect, absorb

and communicate the process in order to make fire.  We will observe communication skills, leadership

qualities, true teamwork (this cannot be done alone),

and the possibility of team success at the cost of the corporate goal.

HANDDRILL CHALLENGE  2.5 hours  $250

  Similar in content as the Bowdrill Challenge but the technique is harder and the teamwork must be more precise.

FIRE FROM NOTHING  4-5 hours $475

  In this challenge the process is demonstrated from

raw materials to fire. Then the teams must build the

bowdrill fire kits (including cordage and tinder) and

make fire without any modern tools. This challenge

requires the teams to determine who is best at what

skill set so they can complete the process within the

imposed time limit.
